MH electric hoist gantry crane
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The MH electric hoist gantry crane can be equipped with CD1/MD1 electric hoists and designed with either a box girder or truss girder according to the lifting capacity, span, and site conditions.
Box Girder or Truss Girder: Which Structure Fits Your Application?
The MH electric hoist gantry crane can be designed with either a box girder or truss girder.
A box girder is formed by welding steel plates into a closed section. It provides a compact structure and good rigidity, making it suitable for workshops, warehouses, and general outdoor lifting applications.
A truss girder is made from structural sections or interconnected members. Its lighter self-weight and lower wind exposure can make it suitable for open yards and applications where crane weight or wind load needs to be considered.
The appropriate girder structure should be selected based on the lifting capacity, span, duty class, wind conditions, and site requirements, rather than on price or appearance alone.
